Webinar on Nexus and Yellowbrick for managing on-premises and cloud data
Access any data, any time, anywhere.
I will be doing a webinar on the new Nexus with my Yellowbrick Data Warehouse partners on Thursday, February 17, at 1:00 EST. You will see the Nexus in action during this webinar, a great training exercise. You can register at this link for the webinar:
Get Rid of Free Query Tools
If you use Teradata Studio or SQL Assistant to query systems, you will fall in love with Nexus. Teradata no longer supports SQL Assistant, and Teradata Studio works on only Teradata for users who write their SQL. Nexus works on all current and future database platforms. You can write the SQL if you want, but Nexus will write the SQL for you automatically.
Nexus was developed in conjunction with Microsoft in an OEM partnership. Nexus queries all systems, but Nexus allows users to quickly move tables or entire databases to and from any system. Nexus can even join tables across systems to join Teradata tables with Yellowbrick, Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Hadoop, DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, Redshift, Postgres, MySQL, and Azure synapse tables. And Nexus will write the SQL and move the data to perform the join for you.
The following pages will show you ten unique reasons you want to use Nexus for the rest of your career. Please get in touch with me for any trial licenses you want. I am excited for you to try Nexus.

Nexus Servers Execute for Nexus Desktop Users
Brilliantly, Nexus Desktops can do everything from querying to migration to cross-system joins (federated queries). Still, Nexus Desktops have a massive advantage because they can command the Nexus Server to execute jobs for them. If Data is small, the Nexus Desktop can handle the data, but if the Data is humongous, the Nexus Server executes the jobs for the user at high speeds.
The Nexus Design is to work with all Database Systems
How nice is it to know you can query every system in your enterprise today with Nexus and all future systems of tomorrow? Notice the beautiful systems tree of Nexus, but also notice we are pivoting data, as well.
Customize Nexus Around Your Preferences
You can customize Nexus to the look-and-feel that you want. Nexus even comes in dark mode. Below, we are simultaneously querying Yellowbrick and SQL Server.
Nexus Writes the SQL for you Automatically
You can write the SQL, and Nexus will return an answer set, but you can also have Nexus write the SQL for you in the Super Join Builder. Users see tables visually, and as they place a checkmark on a table's column, the SQL appears.
Nexus Joins Tables across the Enterprise
Nexus allows users to join data no matter where it resides. The Nexus Super Join Builder allows users to drag-and-drop tables from any system, and Nexus performs the joins. The picture below shows the Amazon Redshift, Teradata, and Snowflake tables. Joining data wherever it resides is easy for Nexus.
Migrate Data Between any Two Database Platforms
The Nexus knows how to move a single table or an entire database worth of tables quickly and easily. Many of our largest customers are moving thousands of tables to the cloud daily.
Search for Tables, Columns, and Data Types across the Enterprise
Each system connected to Nexus can collect cache-tree hierarchy, allowing users to search for any object name, including column names and their data types.
The Nexus Server Dashboard
The Nexus Server comes with a global calendar to schedule migrations, compression jobs, federated queries, Python, R, and Perl Scripts. Some users run SQL and save the results to another database as a table. Other users run analytics on captured data. The Nexus Server is the management software to migrate and move data across database platforms.
Run Analytics inside Nexus and Nexus Server like a Database
Once you gather a result set, you can use the intelligence inside Nexus to run over 80 different analytics on the results. Nexus know how to count just like a standard database platform, so use the Garden of Analytics of Nexus and calculate your analytics fast.
