Fortune 300 Insurance Companies Covered by Nexus

Updated: Sep 14, 2022

Can you imagine the excitement of having four major insurance companies in the fortune 300 using your product to migrate to the cloud? We are thrilled that Nexus is meeting the demands of the largest insurance companies in the United States.

Nexus is so easy to use but powerful that it can migrate between every combination of systems below:

• MySQL

• Excel

• Microsoft Access

• Snowflake

• Redshift

• Synapse

• BigQuery

• Teradata

• Oracle

• SQL Server

• DB2

• Hadoop

• MapR

• Greenplum

• Postgres

• Vertica

• Netezza

• SAP HANA

• Yellowbrick • SQLite

An insurance company in fortune 80 is migrating from Teradata, Netezza, and Oracle to Snowflake and Amazon Redshift. They also use Nexus to move data between Redshift and Snowflake. They also use the Nexus Desktop Pro to query S3 flat files with our Athena data source. And, of course, they use Nexus to join data seamlessly across Teradata, Netezza, Oracle, Snowflake, and Redshift.

An Insurance company in fortune 70 is migrating from SQL Server to Yellowbrick. They are moving thousands of tables, and the setup only takes five minutes because Nexus automates everything (conversions, utility scripts).

Another Insurance company in fortune 200 is migrating from Netezza to Yellowbrick. We customized the Nexus to migrate data from their backup Network Attached Storage (NAS) and move it directly to Snowflake. They got tired of building Informatica Scripts, so they went with Nexus to automate the migrations.

The final insurance company in the fortune 300 is moving data between three Yellowbrick systems. The Nexus migrates the data without data landing on a disk in a landing zone.

The brilliance behind the Nexus software is there are two cooperating pieces of software:

1) The Nexus Desktop Pro software installs on the user's desktop or laptop. It allows users to query all systems, join data across data warehouse platforms, and migrate data between any two systems with a few clicks of the mouse.

2) The Nexus Server software installs on-prem or any cloud server so users can schedule the data movement between data warehouse platforms on a high-speed network.

The users work on their desktop or laptop, working from anywhere, but the Nexus Server executes the work. Because the Nexus Server uses the user's credentials, it is as if the user was physically working on the Server.

All insurance companies listed above merely did a Proof of Concept (POC) where we provide help to install and learn how to query, join, and migrate with Nexus. Then, in no time at all, each was ready to purchase.

Your company will need more teams and individuals migrating data with the click of the mouse. Nexus migrates data fast, inexpensively, and efficiently.

Please give me a call or write me an email. I look forward to doing a demo and setting you up to try out the Nexus Desktop and Server. Check out the picture below to see how easy it is to schedule hundreds of tables to move between any source and target system.

Sincerely,

Tom
